CIID Summer School 2017- NYC

April 26, 2017

Another exciting edition for a hands-on exploration of interaction design – this year for the very first time in New York. CIID renowned faculty will lead basic and advanced workshops where one will join people from all over the world with the same drive and passion for learning, whether they are a working professional or a student. Browse through this blog to get a feel of the programme!

Design is all about ‘learning by doing’, so previous knowledge of interaction design is not required – the school is looking for a diverse group of people from a range of backgrounds who work well as a group. An appetite for learning and willingness to cooperate in a team is more important than having a prior specific knowledge of the subject you are coming to learn.

The week-long workshops have been designed to be stand-alone so it is possible to participate in one, two, three or all four weeks. The workshops run from Monday to Friday, from 9 am till 5 pm. One could join more than one workshop in the Summer School.

Please note that there will be a maximum number of 20 places available for each workshop – first come first served.

When: August 7th – September 1st, 2017
Where: SAP – 10 Hudson Yards, 48th Floor – NY 10001 – New York City – United States

Early bird application closes on May 2nd, 2017.
